The FutureFarm vision is the result of a chance meeting between a technologist and a farmer. It is this: Farmers want to buy inputs and sell produce online, using one authoritative platform of the highest quality.

Seeing itself as a virtual mall where agricultural players meet to trade, FutureFarm built the world’s most advanced online trading platform, enabling economic agents all along the food chain to buy, sell and communicate.

    By the end 2023 we will achieve our goal of hosting the largest farm buying community by membership in the UK and we will be live with our first international partnership,

The £4 billion per annum UK farm supply business along with the rest of the £30bn UK food chain has been a digital holdout.

Our first successful challenge is therefore to transform how farmers buy supplies. Clients that have chosen to work with us include Farmdeals, the UK’s first digital-only buying group. There is room for many more. Using bespoke-branded shopfronts that faithfully project the heritage and tradition of agricultural brands, FutureFarm offers traditional business a chance to trade online with their customers and even with each other to achieve greater scale and buying power.

We have entered the next stage of our development, partnering with food businesses anchored in wholesaling, marketing, distribution, as well as import and export. We are moving traditionally disparate and offline processes into scaleable, templated and transparent digital transactions. Working with our partners, we are crafting a new framework for businesses to work together seamlessly, for the ultimate benefit of the farmer. 

FutureFarm is a win/win for the entire value chain. Farmers benefit by clubbing together virtually, achieving scale and better prices for inputs through their existing suppliers and by gaining access to new buyers for their high quality produce. Suppliers benefit from the instant responsiveness and scale of our platform, achieving more with smaller teams.
